Rarely will you see pictures of me on my back or on my knees because my personal ideologies which formed very early in my career were that those positions showed vulnerability. And when asked to pose in those positions, I felt vulnerable. The photographer (who was female btw) wanted to get an above shot on this amazing medical table and although I knew it would make a cool shot, I still apparently felt the need to “protect” my crotch. “This is mine. It’s not for yours.” Regardless of our compromise, the photo came out amazing. I didn’t share it the other day because I wanted it to stand alone. It deserves to stand alone.
