25th anniversary of Isabella Sinclaire — Polaroids

One of my fondest memories of shooting with Gary and Pierre was their Polaroid snaps they took at every shoot. These photos were pre-digital age so if you wanted to see the results of a shoot, you had to wait a week or more for the film to be processed and arrange a time to meet them and look at proof sheets through a magnifying glass. Choose only a few good photos and wait for those to be developed. Rarely was the shoot a total bust because you took more care in shooting because of the long process. It seems so archaic compared to now. But it was a process and it definitely brought me closer to the photographers since we would make an event out it. But walking away with a picture was like walking away with a souvenir from your adventure.
